A custom-tailored education experience
All of our tracts are administered with an emphasis on individual attention. Parents are involved at each step of the planning process. Psycho-educational testing combined with diagnostic tests in English and math are used to form an individualized education plan for each student in our academic boarding school programs. Special consideration can be accommodated for students diagnosed with learning disorders, ADHD, ADD, or behavior and mood disorders. Our low student-to-teacher ratio allows for individualized instruction.
Fine arts and enrichment education
In addition to our rigorous academic training, students have the opportunity for an elective music theory credit as part of our curriculum. On weekend enrichment activities students participate in a variety of enrichment classes. These range from music lessons, to martial arts, to theater and dance instruction. Every spring, students participate in the National Fine Arts Festival. Students may choose from over 52 categories offered in seven main divisions: art, communication, drama, exhibition, instrumental, vocal, and writing.
Privacy
Depending on the student’s circumstances and academic standing, for most students our boarding school’s academic transcripts and diplomas may be administered through curriculum-related associations. This allows for privacy when residents transfer or graduate, and the therapeutic nature of Evangelhouse is not associated with or indicated on academic records.
Transferable credits
Academic work completed at Evangelhouse Christian Academy will transfer to future schools students may attend.
Twelve-month school year
Our academic program runs year-round, which allows students to transfer in at any point. The extra Summer semester allows for students who have fallen behind to catch up, or those who wish to earn extra credits have the opportunity to do so.
