Evangelhouse Girls Behavioral Healthcare Center for Social Media Addiction & Misuse is a clinically sophisticated treatment program for girls grades 6-12. Our girls-only program combines high-quality behavioral healthcare and accredited academics in a small, home-like setting in the Southeastern US.

Our girls utilize the LifeLeaf system to work on physical, academic, spiritual, social, and therapeutic growth in order to recover from Social Media Addiction & Misuse and lead healthy, productive lives.

With our strong focus on Social Media Addiction & Misuse recovery, girls at Evangelhouse receive therapy modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and EMDR trauma therapy. Our Campus

Girls come to Evangelhouse from locations across the US- we have accepted students from 5 countries and counting. Located in St. Martinville, Louisiana, our beautiful 27-acre private campus offers athletic amenities including soccer, track, and a variety of field sports and various outdoor activities.

Each day at Evangelhouse, students engage in on-campus team sports activities such as soccer, volleyball, softball, and flag football. Other recreational sports include ultimate Frisbee, kickball, and more.

We have a very safe, rural setting that allows us to engage in English horseback riding and other outdoor activities city campuses can’t offer.

Evangelhouse Overview

Academics

Evangelhouse is approved by the Louisiana Department of Education, Non-public schools alternative school division. College preparatory, general, or vocational high school diploma options are available for our students.

Because Evangelhouse is fully accredited, credits will transfer back to your daughter’s school of origin, or the next educational program your daughter chooses. Evangelhouse graduates have been accepted into a variety of competitive public and private colleges across the United States.

Therapy

Individual therapy: Individual therapy modalities include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and EMDR trauma therapy. Solution-focused, systems theory-based milieu therapy is provided multiple times per week.

Group therapy: Group therapy components include a supportive peer culture, character development, leadership development, DBT skills group, and process therapy. Groups meet several times per week.

Medications: Psychiatric medication management services are provided by an adolescent specialist psychiatrist.

Psychological testing: Full battery of psychological testing available with a consulting outpatient neuro-psychologist
