DBT Program for Girls Offering Counseling and Academics
Personalized Support and Counseling:
Recognizing that each girl is unique, Evangelhouse provides personalized support and counseling. Trained professionals, including licensed therapists, work closely with the students, offering guidance, encouragement, and a safe space for expression. This individualized approach is instrumental in addressing the specific needs of girls dealing with anxiety.
Creating a Supportive Community:
Evangelhouse DBT Treatment Center for girls from New Mexico fosters a sense of community where girls feel supported and understood. Through group therapy sessions, girls can connect with peers facing similar challenges, reducing feelings of isolation. This sense of community contributes to the creation of a supportive environment where everyone plays a role in each other’s growth and well-being.
Academic Success and Emotional Well-Being:
At Evangelhouse, academic success and emotional well-being go hand in hand. By addressing anxiety through the integration of DBT, the school not only helps girls overcome immediate challenges but also equips them with lifelong skills for success. This dual focus ensures that graduates leave Evangelhouse not only academically proficient but also emotionally resilient and prepared for the journey ahead.
Evangelhouse’s commitment to providing DBT for anxiety reflects a visionary approach to education—one that recognizes the intrinsic connection between mental health and academic success. By offering girls a supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and develop crucial life skills, Evangelhouse is shaping the future of education and mental health support. As the school continues to make a positive impact on the lives of young girls, it stands as a testament to the transformative power of combining academic excellence with comprehensive mental health care.
DBT Therapy Center for Girls Focused On Academics
At Evangelhouse DBT Treatment Center for girls from New Mexico, licensed teachers with advanced degrees administer a nationally accredited curriculum through the Louisiana Department of Education. Our unique and thorough therapeutic evaluation process guides education planning for each student. Student-to-teacher ratios accommodate learning difficulties presented by complex mood and behavior disorders. An integrative classroom day incorporates biblical teaching, group counseling, and academic work. We offer three educational tracts within our boarding school academic program. The individual attention we provide can support students who are advanced academically alongside those who may struggle.
According to the National Center for Education Statistics, about 5% of high school students in the United States drop out each year. We know this affects a student’s future employment, earnings, potential health and so much more. We also know that students who have mental health issues at school are more likely to have poor school adjustment, fewer friends, more family discord, and future potential problems like drug and alcohol use, dropping out, and more. Recent studies also reveal that the mental health of teens gets worse as academic problems grow.
Today is the day to take action to set your daughter’s academic path in the right direction. We can help get her back on track quickly and support her as she blossoms into the bright, high-achieving student she is destined to be.
