THERAPY

  • Individual therapy: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and EMDR trauma therapy. Solution-focused, systems theory-based milieu therapy
  • Group therapy: Supportive peer culture, character development, leadership development, DBT skills group, and process therapy

TESTING & MEDICATIONS

Medications:  Psychiatric medication management services are provided with an adolescent specialist psychiatrist

Psychological testing: Full battery of psychological testing available with a consulting outpatient neuro-psychologist

STUDENT PROFILE

Gender:  Girls only

Ages:  6th through 12th grades

Profile Student: Must meet admission criteria

Capacity:  16 students

Length of Stay:  12 months or longer

STAFFING

Staffing: Treatment team led by licensed clinicians with ministry experience.  All staff have college degrees, professional credentials, and ministry experience

Therapists: Two licensed Christian clinicians on staff provide 7 hours per week of direct therapy within a therapeutic program structure.

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

Parent Involvement: Parents visit or call anytime but suggested structure is provided by therapeutic stages. Stages also guide weekly scheduled phone calls letters and emails.

Family therapy:  Collaborative model structural therapy, strategic therapy, and Christian parent coaching.
