We have twenty-seven acres on our private, girls-only campus.
Just out the front door of our classroom is the historic Live Oak that we have named "The Knowledge Tree" based on the scripture found in Proverbs 24:3-4.

Office Tour

Welcome to the Evangelhouse campus!
Our office building was built in 1900 and beneath its facade, it is made of solid cypress.
We welcome visitors at the office entry.
Our inviting front porch offers a comfortable space for a conversation.
As you enter the building, you walk into our study. The study is a multipurpose room used as a library, a small group training area, conference and music room.
The study offers a warm, home-like environment for learning.
The study offers a small library of quality reading and reference materials for students.
The study includes a seating area that serves as a great space for one to one counseling.
Students receive small group meetings here, such as Biblical character development and leadership training.
The offices house ten full-time and two part-time staff which serve fourteen students at Evangelhouse.
All of the Evangelhouse staff team have advanced degrees, licenses, and ministry experience.
The offices include comfortable meeting space for private therapy sessions and phone conferences.
Evangelhouse is known for its professional integration of Biblical values with clinical expertise.
Just out the back door of the office you will find one of three historic centurion Live Oak trees. To your right you will find our classroom, and just beyond the Oak you will find our Dock at the Bayou Teche.

Classroom Tour

Welcome to our classroom!
Each student works at her own grade level and receives personal instruction according to her individualized education plan.
Our classroom consists of two licensed teachers serving fourteen students.
Our school is a year round school, offering students the ability to get caught up or get ahead.
There is a set schedule for each subject. Students work at her own grade level during the time allotted, according to the curriculum.
Our highschool offers three accredited diploma options: College Preparatory, General Highschool, or Vocational.
Integrated into our classroom day are Biblical instruction times, therapeutic activities, and athletic activities.
The view from our classroom is a historic Live Oak tree on the Bayou Teche.

Dorm Tour

Welcome to our dorm!
Our dorm is approximately 3,000 sq/ft. It boards up to sixteen students who stay with us anywhere from twelve to eighteen months.
Upon entering our dorm, you are greeted with a very warm and home-like environment.
The sitting area at the fireplace is an inviting space for a group discussion. It is also a great place for parents to wait when picking up students for a visit.
Welcome to our living room.
Here is were the students spend the most of their free time, watching movies, playing xbox, and relaxing.
Within our social structures, every student is included as a valued member of the group with no cliques.
Our staff support student leaders in creating a positive peer culture.
This is our kitchen were students may help staff prepare meals as part of chore rotation. Students learn the valuable life-skill of cooking nutritious meals.
Our game cabinet stores a plethora of board games, cards, and puzzles.
Students sit together for meals. A healthy balanced menu rich with fresh fruits and vegitables is served.
The river view room sleeps eight students.
Students use the laundry room to manage their own laundry with training by staff. They may use their monthly allowance for their preference in laundry detergent and fabric softener.

The river view room has an attached bathroom. Students have a rotation schedule for shower time.
Students use an open closet storage system for hanging space and shoe racks.
Each student has three drawers of storage, desk and sitting area, bulletin board, storage shelf, closet storage, and a six plug outlet.
Just across the hall from the staff room is the phone booth. This call-in only phone provides for students to visit with their parents at weekly scheduled phone times.
Students at evangelhouse are supervised at all times. The staff room is located between the two bedrooms. This is where medications are locked up, computer use is supervised, and students receive individual attention.
The accommodations for the meadow view room are the same as the river view room.
Welcome to the meadow view room. This room sleeps six students.
Students are allowed to store one carry-on type bag in the luggage closet. This bag is used for home visits and other overnight trips.
The meadow view room has an attached bathroom. Students have a rotation schedule for shower time.
Students have the option to personalize their bulletin boards and other areas.
Personal touches are welcomed and encouraged.

Dock Tour

Welcome to the Dock!
We have twenty-seven acres shored by the Bayou Teche.
The Dock was built in 2006 as a special place for enjoying the Bayou.
Our campus is named Live Oak Landing based on the Dock being located in proximity to the Live Oak.
The Bayou Teche is a navigable water way that reaches the Gulf of Mexico to our South.
In Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's epic poem EvanCreate Tablegeline, there is a beautiful allusion to the Pastor and his flock waiting for Christs' return under a Live Oak.
The dock is large enough to accommodate several students for socialization or just relaxing.
Students enjoy free time at the Dock.
Our dog Val enjoys jumping off the dock into the water.
