Accreditation Matters

Evangelhouse students take regular classes as they do at home as part of their weekly schedule. Our curriculum is based on the student’s needs with college preparatory, general or vocational high school diploma options. Evangelhouse is fully approved by the Louisiana Department of Education, Non-public schools alternative school division. Coursework completed is eligible for multiple accrediting bodies, depending on circumstances and academic standing.
Keeping up with classwork is critical to the mental health of your daughter. We keep her focused on the future and prepare her for the challenges of college and/or independent living which is just around the corner for many Evangelhouse students.
At Evangel house Christian Academy, licensed teachers with advanced degrees administer a nationally accredited curriculum. Our unique and thorough therapeutic evaluation process guides education planning for each student. Student-to-teacher ratios accommodate learning difficulties presented by complex mood and behavior disorders. An integrative classroom day incorporates biblical teaching, group counseling, and academic work. We offer three educational tracts within our boarding school academic program. The individual attention we provide can support students who are advanced academically alongside those who may struggle.
Courses are administered in classrooms similar to your daughter’s school at home with one exception: the absence of boys as a distraction. Our girls can focus on their studies and get back on track academically. We have seen significant improvements in mental health and substantial decreases in depressive symptoms as girls know they are making substantial progress towards their college or career goals, getting back on track at Evangelhouse Christian Academy. Our accredited curriculum has enabled girls to gain admission into prominent colleges and universities across the United States.
