Relational Healing and Life Skills Program
This program is designed for Rhode Island girls whose attachment injuries have impacted their ability to form healthy relationships, manage emotions, and navigate daily life with confidence. Rather than focusing only on emotional symptoms, Evangelhouse helps students from Rhode Island rebuild foundational relational and life skills.
Rhode Island students practice developing trust, setting boundaries, communicating effectively, and managing interpersonal conflict in healthy ways. Daily activities emphasize emotional awareness, accountability, and the ability to tolerate discomfort without withdrawing or reacting impulsively.
Through guided experiences, Rhode Island girls learn how to build secure relationships, both with peers and with trusted adults. They also develop independence by learning how to make decisions, manage responsibilities, and navigate challenges without relying on unhealthy relational patterns.
Girls from Rhode Island are encouraged to explore their identity, values, and strengths in a supportive environment. As they grow, they begin to replace fear and insecurity with confidence and self trust.
By strengthening relational skills and emotional resilience, Rhode Island students leave Evangelhouse better prepared for healthy relationships and long term personal success.
Residential Care Designed for Attachment Healing
Attachment injury often requires more than occasional therapy. At Evangelhouse, residential care provides the consistency, structure, and relational support necessary for deep and lasting healing.
Living on campus allows students from Rhode Island to experience stable relationships with staff and peers in a predictable environment. This consistency helps rebuild trust and reduces the uncertainty that often reinforces attachment difficulties.
Residential staff, clinicians, and educators work together to help Rhode Island girls recognize patterns such as avoidance, emotional reactivity, or fear of closeness. Daily interactions become opportunities to practice new relational skills in real time.
Through this immersive experience, students from Rhode Island learn how to form secure connections, manage emotions, and respond to challenges in healthier ways. The structured environment supports long-term change by helping girls develop trust in themselves and in others.
