Healing, Empowerment, and Life Skills Program
This program is designed for South Carolina girls whose experiences with sexual exploitation have impacted their confidence, emotional well being, relationships, and sense of personal safety. Rather than focusing solely on trauma recovery, Evangelhouse helps students from South Carolina build the skills necessary for long term success and independence.
South Carolina students learn healthy boundaries, communication skills, emotional regulation, decision making, and personal responsibility. Daily activities emphasize self awareness, resilience, and the development of healthy coping strategies.
Through therapeutic guidance and structured experiences, girls learn to recognize their strengths, build confidence, and establish healthy relationships with others. They are encouraged to explore their interests, values, and goals while developing a stronger sense of identity.
As healing progresses, South Carolina students replace fear, shame, and self doubt with confidence, self respect, and hope for the future.
By strengthening emotional resilience and life skills, Evangelhouse helps girls from South Carolina move forward with the tools needed to build healthy relationships, pursue their goals, and create meaningful lives.
Academic Recovery in a Supportive and Trauma Informed Classroom
At Evangelhouse, academics are designed to support South Carolina girls whose experiences with sexual exploitation have affected their ability to focus, engage, and succeed in school. Trauma can impact concentration, motivation, memory, self confidence, and overall academic performance.
Classrooms are intentionally small, structured, and supportive, allowing students from South Carolina to feel safe while rebuilding their confidence as learners. Teachers create an environment where students are encouraged, respected, and understood without being defined by their past experiences.
Educators work closely with therapists to understand how trauma may affect learning behaviors such as avoidance, anxiety, perfectionism, low motivation, or difficulty concentrating. Together, they develop individualized plans that support both emotional healing and academic success.
As South Carolina students begin to heal and regain confidence, they reconnect with learning. Academic performance improves, self esteem grows, and girls rediscover their strengths, abilities, and future potential.
