Healing, Empowerment, and Life Skills Program
This program is designed for Virginia girls whose experiences with sexual exploitation have impacted their confidence, emotional well being, relationships, and sense of personal safety. Rather than focusing solely on trauma recovery, Evangelhouse helps students from Virginia build the skills necessary for long term success and independence.
Virginia students learn healthy boundaries, communication skills, emotional regulation, decision making, and personal responsibility. Daily activities emphasize self awareness, resilience, and the development of healthy coping strategies.
Through therapeutic guidance and structured experiences, Virginia girls learn to recognize their strengths, build confidence, and establish healthy relationships with others. They are encouraged to explore their interests, values, and goals while developing a stronger sense of identity.
As healing progresses, students replace fear, shame, and self doubt with confidence, self respect, and hope for the future.
By strengthening emotional resilience and life skills, Evangelhouse helps girls from Virginia move forward with the tools needed to build healthy relationships, pursue their goals, and create meaningful lives.
Healing in an All Girls Therapeutic Community
Evangelhouse offers a calm, supportive all girls environment where students recovering from sexual exploitation can focus on healing in a setting designed for safety, trust, and personal growth.
Many Virginia girls arrive carrying feelings of shame, fear, mistrust, isolation, or emotional pain. Within this therapeutic community, relationships are built on consistency, respect, understanding, and healthy boundaries.
Students from Virginia are encouraged to develop genuine connections with peers and staff who provide support and encouragement throughout the healing process. Over time, girls begin to experience what healthy relationships look and feel like.
The environment emphasizes emotional safety and predictability. Students from Virginia learn how to express their emotions, build trust, communicate effectively, and participate confidently in group life.
As fear and uncertainty begin to decrease, emotional healing becomes possible. Virginia girls gain confidence, develop stronger coping skills, and discover that they are valued, respected, and supported.
