Healing, Empowerment, and Life Skills Program
This program is designed for West Virginia girls whose experiences with sexual exploitation have impacted their confidence, emotional well being, relationships, and sense of personal safety. Rather than focusing solely on trauma recovery, Evangelhouse helps students from West Virginia build the skills necessary for long term success and independence.
West Virginia students learn healthy boundaries, communication skills, emotional regulation, decision making, and personal responsibility. Daily activities emphasize self awareness, resilience, and the development of healthy coping strategies.
Through therapeutic guidance and structured experiences, girls from West Virginia learn to recognize their strengths, build confidence, and establish healthy relationships with others. They are encouraged to explore their interests, values, and goals while developing a stronger sense of identity.
As healing progresses, students replace fear, shame, and self doubt with confidence, self respect, and hope for the future.
By strengthening emotional resilience and life skills, Evangelhouse helps West Virginia girls move forward with the tools needed to build healthy relationships, pursue their goals, and create meaningful lives.
A Specialized Program for Girls Recovering from Sexual Exploitation
Evangelhouse serves West Virginia girls whose experiences with sexual exploitation have contributed to emotional distress, trust issues, low self esteem, relationship difficulties, or behavioral challenges. Many students arrive feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about their future.
Our program integrates therapy, academics, life skills development, and community support to help students heal and move forward with confidence.
Individualized treatment plans address each West Virginia girl’s unique experiences and needs. Licensed clinicians provide trauma informed care while helping students develop emotional regulation, healthy boundaries, communication skills, and self confidence.
Girls from West Virginia learn how to manage difficult emotions, build healthy relationships, and engage fully in academics and daily responsibilities. Through structured support and encouragement, they begin to replace fear, shame, and self doubt with resilience, hope, and personal strength.
Over time, West Virginia students develop the confidence and life skills necessary to return to their families, schools, and communities with greater stability, self awareness, and optimism for the future.
