Healing, Empowerment, and Life Skills Program
This program is designed for Wisconsin girls whose experiences with sexual exploitation have impacted their confidence, emotional well being, relationships, and sense of personal safety. Rather than focusing solely on trauma recovery, Evangelhouse helps Wisconsin students build the skills necessary for long term success and independence.
Students from Wisconsin learn healthy boundaries, communication skills, emotional regulation, decision making, and personal responsibility. Daily activities emphasize self awareness, resilience, and the development of healthy coping strategies.
Through therapeutic guidance and structured experiences, Wisconsin girls learn to recognize their strengths, build confidence, and establish healthy relationships with others. They are encouraged to explore their interests, values, and goals while developing a stronger sense of identity.
As healing progresses, students from Wisconsin replace fear, shame, and self doubt with confidence, self respect, and hope for the future.
By strengthening emotional resilience and life skills, Evangelhouse helps girls from Wisconsin move forward with the tools needed to build healthy relationships, pursue their goals, and create meaningful lives.
Academic Recovery in a Supportive and Trauma Informed Classroom
At Evangelhouse, academics are designed to support Wisconsin girls whose experiences with sexual exploitation have affected their ability to focus, engage, and succeed in school. Trauma can impact concentration, motivation, memory, self confidence, and overall academic performance.
Classrooms are intentionally small, structured, and supportive, allowing Wisconsin students to feel safe while rebuilding their confidence as learners. Teachers create an environment where students are encouraged, respected, and understood without being defined by their past experiences.
Educators work closely with therapists to understand how trauma may affect learning behaviors such as avoidance, anxiety, perfectionism, low motivation, or difficulty concentrating. Together, they develop individualized plans that support both emotional healing and academic success.
As students begin to heal and regain confidence, they reconnect with learning. Academic performance improves, self esteem grows, and Wisconsin girls rediscover their strengths, abilities, and future potential.
